I think you get a more accurate reading on the moisture meter is to stick it in and leave for at least 5 minutes. That method works for me.🙂

Wow, they look sickly or they are return’s. Always check the roots and make sure that you can rehab the plant before taking home! Jmo

I have to tell you that I watched your Thai videos MANY TIMES over. It gave me hope that my Thai would survive even when it had next to ZERO roots haha. AND IT DID!!! I was so confident that I bought another one, chopped off all its soil roots and rooted it in perlite to eventually go in semi hydro. And it worked like a charm too. Without seeing your videos, I likely would have tossed the plant thinking it would die LOL. 🥰

FYI if you find one at Walmart and buy one , check roots and repot I bought two and both had root rot.

The owner Hyams is a joke .Nasty old guy. They will not take shrubs and plants back even with a receipt and under 30 days. Old guy cares only for $$.Brownswood nursery way better

I got one from my local Walmart a couple months ago and it’s been slowly declining while trying to unfurl a beautiful new leaf. 😔 it seems like it simultaneously has wet and dry rot. I’m not sure what to do to save it which really bums me out cuz $40 is still $40 and it’s such a pretty variegated plant!

They are NOT as easy to grow as some said. And these are all with Ugly leaves, probably why they did not get sold.

How did affect your electricity bill?

The plant that produces huge leaves is the Monstera Delicious, its growth is slow, it has a wavy geniculus, while the Monstera Borsigiana gives small leaves, has a smooth geniculus and is slow growing.

Free plants and pots? No around here. Walmart told me they make more money on plants that don't make it than giving a discount. Walmart does not do a job with their plant care. Lowes and Home Depot, not sure. I purchase that Captain Jacks, Neem and that stuff did not help with mites. A channel called Sober plant guy makes his own spray. I tried it a few days ago and really like it. I will not be purchasing that stuff anymore.
